Program Overview:
This webinar will aid participants in understanding how to identify and utilize data and information typically available through outsourced and internal financial studies. Types of data sets and structures will be identified, as well as the demonstration of various tools that can be readily designed to use the data for broader purposes throughout departments and divisions within your agency. Tips and strategies will be covered regarding how to collaborate between various departments to get the highest value from leveraging the available data.
Program Objectives:
- Understand the wide array of available data from targeted/narrow-purpose financial studies
- Demonstrate how to achieve the utility’s strategic plan through the daily performance of duties
- Empower employees to be active participants in the business success of their agencies
- Characterize diverse roles typically existing within a utility as it relates to use of financial data
- Gain proven techniques for work group collaboration (how to integrate you into your team)
- Utilize modeling tools that can be readily designed to leverage available financial data
- Demonstrate how to get more work done in less time using these types of tools
Program level: Intermediate
Prerequisite: Participant should have current standing as a Chief Financial Officer, be a licensed CPA, or hold a position as Senior Accountant.
Advanced preparation for this webinar is not required

Program Schedule:
The webinar will be held from 10-11:30 a.m. Pacific Time. Attendees will be admitted 15 minutes before the webinar begins. The course is only available live; no recording will be made available.
How to Participate:
Instructions will be emailed to attendees 24 hours before the webinar and we recommend that you test the link to the meeting as soon as you get the instructions. The webinar is best viewed using Internet Explorer as your browser. We recommend that you use a landline for both your phone and your internet connections.
This registration is for one person to attend. We manage our webinars on an honor-system basis; if more than one person from a utility wishes to attend, each is to register separately.

Program Refund and Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations are accepted, with full refund, if request is made at least 30 days prior to the course date. Within 30 days, fees are as follows: 15-29 days, $100; 1-14 days or “no show,” 100% of registration fee. When possible, please send a substitute instead of canceling; NWPPA does not charge a fee for substitutions. If registration was paid by credit card, a refund will be issued to that credit card; all other refunds will be issued via check.
